Coin & wallet terms

Every account holds exactly one wallet. Every coin movement is recorded as an immutable ledger entry containing a unique transaction reference, the user, the type, the direction, the amount, the balance before and after, the status, a reference to the originating record and a timestamp.

Transaction types

Coin purchase, quiz entry, quiz reward, product purchase, sale earning, referral reward, commission, refund, reversal and administrator adjustment.

Integrity

All wallet operations execute inside database transactions with row-level locking and idempotency keys, which prevents double spending, duplicate credits and race conditions.

Value

Coins are a closed-loop utility balance. They are not a deposit, not interest bearing and not redeemable for cash unless a payout feature is formally introduced.
